Lovely little restaurant with a cute courtyard at the rear. We turned up 20 minutes before closing but they still served us excellent cocktails (I had the watermelon Margherita) and exceptional squash quesadilla. The pork and bean tacos were also delicious.

Fantastic vegetarian options. The squash quesadillas and aubergine tacos were delicious, and lovely to sit outside in the courtyard in the shade. Also really enjoyed my Pina Coco Agua Fresca.

This was an awesome experience. A true home-cooked meal with dialed in seasoning and a causal outdoor patio environment. The menu changes daily and is explained to you as you sit down (in English or in Spanish). We got the quesabirria and duo of moles. They had a delicious coconut hibiscus mezcal cocktail special. The food was outstanding and of the folks working there are so knowledgeable and friendly. Jessica was awesome and gave us a great experience. Some of the best food we have eaten in Merida.

I’m not a vegetarian, but even with that I did enjoy the food here. We tried everything on menu, which wasn’t a lot, then ordered seconds. Seating is outside and we were there just in time for a thunder storm. They set us up a table in the breezeway between the seating area and the street, which made for a nice experience.. a cooling mist from the rain falling all around!

We were fortunate to have a private tasting at Ramiro during our stay in Merida. The owner and staff were gracious and very welcoming! I am not usually a fan of eggplant but I'm so glad I decided to give the eggplant tacos a try because they were delicious! The food was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and filling. We enjoyed our time at Ramiro and plan to visit again the next time we're in Merida!

We had a delightful time at Cocina Ramiro! We popped up on their 3 yr anniversary unknowingly. They did have a daily choices menu, we tried everything on the menu and everything was absolutely delicious. The Lechon tacos and the Corn ribs hit the spot for us! also the camarones tostada was very yummy! That day they even had a DJ for the fiesta. Vibe is down to earth, wonderful garden, the food is center stage.

This is my favorite restaurant in Yucatan, and top 5 in Mexico. It is a small, bohemian patio with zero pretense, although the caliber of food and flavors would justify it. My husband and I generally order everything on the menu (actually), but some favorites are the molotes with two types of moles... any of the quesadillas-- which come as crispy costras, tacos de berenjena, and of course all the mezcalitas. The menu varies with seasonal availability, but the last time we went, they had local squash ice cream with a lightly salted pepita crumble dessert which I am still thinking about. The story of the place is also wonderful, inspired by the recipes of a long time Merida grandpa, Ramiro. Must go!
